Bone inlay involves the meticulous craftsmanship of intricately carving bone pieces into small forms, which are then delicately inserted into the surfaces of various objects like furniture and homewares.
Originally, bone shards were arranged in simple, organic mosaic patterns. Over time, this technique evolved to encompass elaborate designs featuring geometric, floral, fishtail, and herringbone arrangements.
The gaps around the bone are filled with colored resin, resulting in a flawless design.

We ordered a custom size version of this cabinet to fit in a rather small foyer nook. Iqbal was very responsive, sent photos of the product before shipping, and shipping was very fast and well protected – completely wrapped in styrofoam in a wooden crate that was screwed shut. It was very impressive. We are thrilled with how this came out, and it’s perfect in our space.
