Reclaimed 4 Drawer TV Unit

Reclaimed 4 Drawer TV Unit
Give your living room a piece with real history. This TV unit is built from reclaimed wood, and every surface carries the weathered, multi-layered paint finish that only years of previous use can create. Faded turquoise, sky blue, brick red, sage green, and creamy ivory show through in patches, so no two units are ever exactly alike. Each one is a one-of-a-kind statement piece rather than a factory-uniform product.

Design and Character

The unit has a low, wide profile that sits comfortably beneath a wall-mounted or stand-mounted television. The top is a generous flat surface with a distressed finish, marked by patches of mint green and pale blue against deep rust-red tones. It works well for décor pieces, a soundbar, a plant, or a few framed photographs. The chipped edges, natural wood grain, and worn paint are part of its charm, not flaws. The subtly scalloped apron along the base and the chunky, slightly uneven legs, one in weathered cream, add a handcrafted, heritage feel.

Storage and Functionality

• Four drawers: Two on each side of the centre, with a mix of turquoise-painted and natural-wood fronts. They are ideal for remotes, game controllers, cables, chargers, DVDs, and other small items you'd rather keep out of sight.
• Two open central compartments: Spacious shelves designed for a set-top box, gaming console, DVD player, or streaming device. The open back allows airflow to keep electronics cool.
• Cable management: A round cutout at the top of the centre section lets you route wires neatly to the back of the unit.
• Black metal ring pulls: The dark, vintage-style handles contrast beautifully with the colourful drawer fronts and are easy to grip.

Material and Craftsmanship

Made from reclaimed solid wood, this unit gives salvaged timber a second life. The material is naturally sturdy and long-lasting, while the layered old paint gives a depth of colour that new finishes struggle to imitate. Variations in tone, grain, knots, and paint wear are natural and celebrated, so your piece will be truly unique. Sustainability is built into the story: using reclaimed wood reduces waste and demand for freshly felled timber.

Style and Placement

The colourful patina suits many interiors:

• Boho and eclectic: Pair it with woven baskets, macramé, and vibrant cushions.
• Rustic and farmhouse: Let it sit alongside natural textures, earthy tones, and vintage accents.
• Industrial and vintage: It softens the look of metal fixtures, exposed brick, and concrete walls.
• Contemporary spaces: Use it as a bold accent piece to add warmth and personality to a neutral room.

Beyond the living room, it also works as a console table in an entryway, a sideboard in a dining area, or a media and storage unit in a bedroom or family lounge.

Care Instructions

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe up spills promptly and avoid harsh chemical cleaners or excess water, which can affect the finish. Keep the unit away from prolonged direct sunlight and heat sources. To refresh the wood, an occasional application of natural wax or furniture polish is recommended.
