Rattan Classic Tv Unit
Bring a timeless, artisanal elegance to your living space with this handcrafted sage green TV unit, a piece that beautifully marries classical French provincial design with the warmth of traditional Rajasthani craftsmanship. Finished in a soothing muted sage green, the unit brings a soft, botanical calm to any room, pairing effortlessly with neutral, earthy, or coastal interior palettes.
The solid wood frame is detailed with fluted, reeded columns along the sides and front edges — a hallmark of classical cabinetry that lends the piece a refined, sculptural presence. A gently molded top edge and turned, tapering legs finished with subtle ring details complete the vintage-inspired silhouette, giving the unit an heirloom quality that stands apart from mass-produced furniture.
At its heart, the unit features six spacious drawers, each front inlaid with intricately hand-woven natural cane webbing set within a solid wood frame. This traditional cane work, woven by skilled artisans, introduces natural texture and organic warmth that beautifully offsets the smooth painted wood, creating a rich interplay of colour and craft. Each drawer is fitted with a rounded brass-toned knob, adding a warm metallic accent that complements the cane's honey tones and the sage-painted finish.
Functionally, the unit is designed for versatile use as a media console, TV stand, or living room sideboard. The six generously sized drawers offer ample concealed storage for remote controls, media accessories, table linens, or living room clutter, keeping surfaces clear and uncluttered. The low-profile, elongated silhouette makes it ideal for wall-mounted or console-style television setups, while its tapered legs allow light to pass beneath, lending an airy, uplifted feel even in compact spaces.
Every element of this piece — from the fluted detailing to the hand-caned drawer fronts — reflects the artisanal heritage of Rajasthan, where generations of craftsmen continue to preserve time- honoured woodworking and caning techniques. The result is a piece of furniture that feels both classic and contemporary, sturdy and delicate, mass-appeal and one-of-a-kind.
Ideal for: living rooms, media rooms, entryways, or as a statement sideboard in dining spaces.
Style: French provincial-inspired, rattan/cane detailing, vintage sage green finish
