Oxford Solid Wood Platform Bed With Hand Carved Headboard Black Finish

Part of the Hand Carved Collection, the Oxford bed is a true showcase of artisanal craftsmanship. Its striking headboard is intricately hand-carved with an ornate medallion motif surrounded by flowing floral and botanical detailing — every curve and cutout worked by hand, giving the piece a level of depth and texture that no machine-made design can replicate. Set against a rich, weathered black finish, the carved pattern catches light and shadow beautifully, transforming the headboard into a genuine statement of decorative art.

Below the elaborate headboard, the bed rests on a clean, low-profile platform frame with slender tapered legs — a deliberate contrast that lets the carved detailing take full visual center stage without competing with an equally ornate base. This pairing of intricate top and minimal foundation gives the Oxford a versatile character: bold enough to anchor a room, yet balanced enough to sit comfortably within a range of design styles, from global-bohemian to moody modern eclectic.

Each piece in the Hand Carved Collection showcases meticulous chisel work and natural wood texture, meaning subtle variations in the carving and grain are part of what makes every bed unique. The deep black finish enhances the carved relief, adding richness and drama while still allowing the natural wood character to show through.

Available in Full, Queen, King, and California King, the Oxford scales its signature hand-carved headboard across every size while preserving the same intricate artistry and finish.
