Hand Carved Multi Colour Door
Bring heritage craftsmanship into your space with this hand-carved wooden panel, finished in a weathered turquoise and rich floral colour. Every inch is worked by hand, from the geometric frame to the botanical carvings inside it. It looks like an antique door but works equally well as a statement wall piece, headboard backdrop, console back panel, or room divider insert.
The panel is divided into five framed sections. Two tall panels sit at the top and two at the bottom, each carved with a climbing vine of tulips and a sunny yellow daisy. A wider central panel shows a bouquet of tulips and a daisy rising from a slate-grey pot, and acts as the focal point of the design.
Between the sections, narrow carved bands of scrolling vines and tiny blossoms add rhythm and a touch of folk-art charm. Around the whole panel runs a bold Greek key (meander) border, incised and darkened so the pattern stands out against the turquoise frame.
The panel is finished in a soft turquoise-green, rubbed back to let the natural wood show through at the edges. The recessed floral panels keep a warm, aged-gold wood tone as a backdrop for the hand-painted flowers:
- Deep raspberry and crimson tulips
- Warm peach tulips with speckled detailing
- Bright sunflower-yellow daisies
- Forest-green stems and leaves
