Bone Inlay 4 Drawer Floral Dresser

Bone Inlay Collection

Our primary collection highlights bone inlay furniture and homewares. From the beginning, we have collaborated with artisans in Rajasthan to honor traditional motifs while introducing their unique designs. Over time, this technique evolved to encompass elaborate designs featuring geometric, floral, fishtail, and herringbone arrangements.
The gaps around the bone are filled with colored resin, resulting in a flawless surface.

This showpiece four-drawer chest is covered from top to bottom in intricate hand-laid inlay, set in crisp cream against a deep charcoal-black ground. Winding floral vines, delicate leaves, and blossom-shaped medallions flow across each drawer front, framed by borders of tiny diamonds, quatrefoils, and fine geometric bands. The pattern continues down the sides and across the top, so the whole piece reads as one continuous, exquisitely detailed work of craftsmanship.

Two smaller drawers sit side by side above two wide, full-length drawers, offering a practical mix of storage for clothes, linens, and smaller keepsakes. Instead of traditional hardware, rounded floral pulls in the same cream tone are set right into the design, so the surface stays seamless and uninterrupted. A stepped, architectural detail beneath the lower drawer and straight, slim legs give the chest a distinctive, finished silhouette with a subtle nod to classic Indian furniture design.

The wide, flat top is a lovely stage for a stack of leather-bound books, a sculpted bust, or a framed mirror leaned against the wall. Suited to a bedroom, dining room, or entryway, this chest brings high-contrast drama and old-world elegance to any space, and pairs beautifully with antique brass, aged leather, warm plaster walls, and richly patterned rugs.
