Hand Carved Sky Blue TV Unit
This media console brings the artistry of Rajasthan's carving tradition into a clean, contemporary form. Its soft whitewashed finish lets the texture of the wood show through, giving the piece a light, airy look that suits modern, Scandinavian, coastal and bohemian interiors alike.
Design Highlights
Hand-carved mandala doors: The two central doors are the heart of the piece. Each is carved with an intricate floral mandala that spreads across both panels, so the doors read as one continuous motif when closed. The relief work catches light and shadow through the day, adding depth and character to a plain wall.
Open shelving on both sides: Two open compartments flank the central cabinet, each with a fixed shelf. They are ideal for a streaming box, gaming console, soundbar, speakers or router, and for decor such as books, plants, framed photos and baskets. The open sides also help air circulate around electronics.
Concealed storage: Behind the carved doors is a roomy cabinet for remotes, cables, board games, DVDs and other things you'd rather keep out of sight, so the top stays tidy.
Slim black iron base: The unit sits on a powder-coated black metal frame with four sturdy legs. This lifts the cabinet off the floor, makes cleaning underneath easy, and gives a crisp contrast against the white body. The matching black iron D-handles echo the base and tie the design together.
Generous top surface: The wide, flat top holds a TV, lamps, vases or artwork. It is a sturdy display ledge as well as a media stand.
Craftsmanship & Finish
- Made from solid wood, shaped and carved by skilled artisans
- Each carved panel is unique, so slight variations in the pattern are part of the piece's handmade character
- Whitewash finish that keeps the natural grain and texture visible
- Powder-coated iron base and handles, resistant to rust and wear
Styling Ideas
- Place it in the living room under a wall-mounted TV, with a floor lamp on one side and a tall plant on the other
- Use it in a bedroom as a low media console with a mirror or artwork above
- Pair it with cane, rattan or jute accents for a relaxed, earthy look, or with brass and monochrome decor for a more refined one
