Bone Inlay Yellow Floral Dresser

Bone Inlay Collection

Bone inlay involves the meticulous craftsmanship of intricately carving bone pieces into small forms, which are then delicately inserted into the surfaces of various objects like furniture and homewares.

This eye-catching nine-drawer chest is a celebration of geometric pattern, with every drawer front and side panel covered in hand-laid inlay in yellow and crisp white. Star-shaped florals and interlocking tile motifs repeat across the surface in a design that recalls Moroccan zellige and Moorish mosaics, while the mix of honey-toned wood and bright inlay gives the piece a lively sense of depth and movement. The pattern wraps around the sides, so the chest looks just as striking from every angle.

Three columns of three drawers offer generous, well-organized storage for clothes, linens, and everyday essentials. Small brass-toned knobs with a tapered, tassel-like shape sit at the center of each motif, adding a subtle metallic glint while blending neatly into the design. Slim, splayed legs in an aged brass finish lift the chest off the floor, giving it a light, mid-century-inspired stance that balances the richness of the inlaid surface.

The broad, flat top provides plenty of room for lamps, books, or sculptural accents. Well suited to a bedroom, dining room, or entryway, this chest brings global character and graphic energy to bohemian, eclectic, and modern interiors. It pairs beautifully with soft neutral walls, natural textiles, warm metallics, and layered vintage rugs for a look that feels vibrant, handcrafted, and full of personality.
